Tots & Tracks is a brand-new weekly program designed for parents, carers, babies and toddlers. Every Tuesday throughout the school term, play, explore and connect at the NSW Rail Museum.

A welcoming space with hands-on activities.

From 10am to 1pm, enjoy a range of games and activities at the NSW Rail Museum.

Activities available every week include:

Train sets, tactile toys, BRIO tables and soft play mats
Giant games including oversized Jenga and Snakes & Ladders
Railway-themed story corner with books and screen stories
Colouring-in, crafts and puzzle stations
Dress-up play with train conductor costumes
Self-led museum trail scavenger hunt

Our kiosk will also be open, serving barista-made coffee and a selection of hot and cold snacks to keep little tummies (and grown-ups!) happy.

Rotating Weekly Activities

Each week features a special optional hosted activity between 10:30am – 11:30am.

Activities are generally suitable for babies to preschoolers (0–5 years). Any sessions designed for specific age groups are marked below.

Picnic areas

With over 10,000 square metres of lawns and sheltered picnic tables, the grounds are the perfect place to have a picnic – don’t forget a rug!

Pre-booking is highly recommended, as guest sessions may have limited capacity.
