Bricks for Kidz
On the weekends of 20, 21, 27 & 28 April from 10.30am – 3.30pm, have a Bricktastic time at our Lego® workshop, hosted by Bricks 4 Kidz!

Construct intricate mosaic & 3D builds and let your child's imagination soar with our train LEGO creative free play.

Mini train rides​
On the weekends of 20, 21, 27 & 28 April, enjoy rides on our mini train!
Games and activities
Every day of the holidays, explore Australia's largest collection of heritage trains, and enjoy a range of giant yard games, brio tables, colouring in, and more.
Vintage train rides
Railmotor rides
Between 13-15 April, railmotor rides depart Thirlmere Station at:
10.30am, 11.15am: 12.00pm, 1.15pm, 2.00pm, 2.45pm
Total trip duration: 30 minutes.

Steam train rides
From 16 to 28 April, steam train rides depart Thirlmere Station at:
10.30am, 12.00pm 2.00pm
Total trip duration: 40 minutes.
Terms and conditions

All tickets are for entry to the NSW Rail Museum from 10.00am to 4.00pm on weekdays and 9.00am to 5.00pm on weekends.

'Museum only' includes all activities, except a steam train ride.

Please be sure of your availability before you book as there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES offered.

Children under 2 are admitted FREE but must sit on adults lap during train ride.

The NSW Rail Museum reserves the right to change locomotive power without notice, however will endeavour to notify customers of this change should the need arise for operational reasons.
