Steam Train Rides
Enjoy an historic steam train ride behind some of Australia's most famous steam locomotives. See 120-year-old express locomotive 3265, take a trip through time behind former Sydney suburban locomotive 3001, or experience the largest steam locomotive in the southern hemisphere, Beyer-Garratt 6029!

Locomotive Cab Visits
Climb into the drivers' cab of vintage locomotive 3526, right in the forecourt of the NSW Rail Museum.
Steam Machinery
See an array of historic machinery, including steam traction engines, a coal grab, and a steam roller. Plus, enjoy live blacksmith demonstrations from Eveleigh Workshops and leathercraft from FaeMorgaine leather.

Science Experiments
Learn about the science of steam with a range of experiments and activities, brought to life by Fizzics Education.

On Sunday 19 May, enjoy a range of costumes, characters and performers in the annual festival parade! Who knows what you'll see this year?

On Sunday 19 May at Barbour road, see local acts take to the stage with a selection of amazing performances. Plus, be thrilled by stilt walkers, dancers, musicians and more across the village.
Carnival Rides and Family Fun Zone
On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May, enjoy the thrill of carnival rides at Thirlmere Sportsground, from midday right to 9pm!

Food Stalls and Markets
On Sunday 19 May, Barbour Road will transform into Eat Street. Enjoy a huge selection of fantastic food and treats and peruse market stalls with a selection of local produce and artisan goods.
