Thomas and Friends return to the NSW Rail Museum for three days of feature-packed family fun!

• All day entry to the NSW Rail Museum where kids of all ages can explore the biggest display of heritage trains in the country!

• Meet Thomas – climb into the driver's cab and toot his whistle

• Meet Henry the green engine and visit his driver's cab

• Ride Toby the Railmotor from Sodor Station up to the Roundhouse

• Meet the Fat Controller alongside Thomas

• Unlimited mini-train rides

• Unlimited jumping castle rides – 3 castles to cater for different age groups

• Visit the Imagination Station – children can enter the colouring competition, play some Thomas games and listen to our Storyteller read Thomas stories.​

• 45-minute steam train ride hauled by Donald the black engine from Thirlmere to Buxton and return - an adventure not to be missed!

Timetable

The NSW Rail Museum will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Customers purchasing a 'Thomas Pass + Train Ride' have the option of selecting seats on one of the following steam train rides departing Sodor (Thirlmere) Station for Buxton and return:

Total trip duration: 45-minutes.

Food and drink options

The NSW Rail Museum Cafe will be open throughout the weekend. Self-serve BBQ facilities are also available on a first come, first served basis.

Terms and conditions

• All tickets are for entry to the NSW Rail Museum from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

• The Thomas Pass includes all the Thomas activities, except a steam train ride.

• Please be sure of your availability before you book as there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES offered.

• We reserve the right to replace steam hauled train rides with a diesel engine if required.

• Children under 2 are admitted FREE but must sit on adults lap during train ride.

• The NSW Rail Museum reserves the right to change locomotive power without notice, however will endeavour to notify customers of this change should the need arise for operational reasons.
