Heritage train rides
Bring your museum experience to life with a heritage train ride! Our heritage railmotor runs on the historic Loop Line EVERY DAY from 1-28 January.
Steam train rides with Santa
Visit on 25 and 26 November or 2 and 3 December, and enjoy a steam train ride with Santa!
In addition to meeting Santa on the Loop Line, enjoy storytelling with Mrs. Claus, selfies on Santa's chair, face painting, scavenger hunts and more.
Food and drink options
On weekends, a small range of drinks, tea, coffee, pre-made sandwiches, salads and snacks are available from the NSW Rail Museum Kiosk.

Picnic areas
With over 10,000 square metres of lawns and sheltered picnic tables, the grounds are the perfect place to have a picnic – don’t forget a rug!
